Day 1: TRAVEL / CAMPING  / HIKING

Your guide will be waiting at the airport and / or bus terminal and take you to our office located about 5 minutes away from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Here we will record and do some last minute shopping for things we could have forgotten such as batteries or poncho. Then we drive to the pier from where we take our motorboat to travel 4 hours, lunch on board. We travel for 3 rivers Madre de Dios, stones and Pariamanu, this river is one of the most beautiful rivers where you can see the forest on both sides of the boat, we can see during our trip, native families, logging activities and mining, then in the evening we arrive to our camp where we will camp for the night, then to accommodate our tents, take the boat to see alligators that become visible in the dark with the help of our flashlights, then spend the night in our comfortable camp.

Day 2 MACAW CLAY LICK  / LODGE / HIKING

Leave early before breakfast to see the first show, the arrival of parrots and parakeets, they usually arrive earlier than the macaws, after watching these little parrots and macaws watching reach back to camp for our breakfast after back to the lick to see the macaws start to arrive in pairs and they go posing in near the lick trees, then when there is already a fairly large group of about 100 to 200 macaws come down to eat the clay a colorful show Flight and screams this is a show you will never forget.

Pariamanu Macaw Clay Lick

The Pariamanu lick is a bank of about ten meters high Pariamanu a side arm of the river, where several species of parrots and macaws gather in a magical display. The most famous visitor is red with green macaw. These birds have to meet every morning to feed on clay before flying in search of fruits and seeds in the jungle. This show lasts one to three hours and follows a specific order. First come the small species like parakeets and parrots parrotlets later appear to possibly be followed by significantly larger macaws bring this exceptional explosion of color and sound to a dignified end.
