Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata Tours

Puerto Maldonado is a city in southeastern Peru, capital of the Department of Madre de Dios, located on the banks of the Madre de Dios River, formerly called Amaru Mayo. It is one of the main commercial centers of the Amazon. It carries the official title of Capital of Biodiversity of Peru in recognition of important records of flora and fauna found in the forests of the department, especially in the Manu, Puerto Maldonado has the famous National Reserve.

Manu: with its capital city of Manu. It has 3 districts: Manu, Mother of God and Fitzcarraldo. Tahuamanu: with its capital Iñapari. It has 3 districts: Iñapari, Iberia and Tahuamanu.
